Birdsall's 30 Day Return Policy
Here at Birdsall Marine Design, we pride ourselves on our reasonable product return policy. We understand that sometimes a product is just not what you were expecting or simply will not work for your application. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a product, return it in it's original condition within 30 days for a no hassle exchange or return. If an item is returned damaged or not in it's original condition you will be subject up to a 25% restocking fee.
Return Policy & Delivery Inspection Instructions
At Birdsall Marine Design, we take great care in packaging and shipping your order. To ensure a smooth return process and to protect your investment, we ask that you follow these important steps upon delivery:
Inspect Immediately Upon Delivery
- Check for any visible damage to the packaging or product.
- Open and inspect all products as soon as they arrive.
- If damage is found, take clear photos of the item and packaging.
- Report any issues to us within 5 buisness days of delivery.
Concealed Damage
- If damage is discovered after the delivery has been signed for, please notify us within 5 business days.
- Keep all original packaging and materials for inspection.
Return Eligibility
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused, non-custom items in original condition.
- Custom-built or powder-coated items are non-returnable unless defective or shipped in error.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.
Return Parameters:
- Items must be in brand new, mint condition.
- Returned products must be in original packaging with all packaging materials.
- Returns are not accepted on any special-order items. (Example Frigid Rigid Coolers)
- Frigid Rigid Coolers are not returnable. If you have a warranty issue you may contact Frigid Rigid directly.
- Shipping and handling fees, if applicable, are non-refundable.
- Return shipping is prepaid by the customer unless the item arrives incorrectly or otherwise incorrect due to our error.
Return Process:
- Please Confirm your item is returnable.
(Powder Coated & built to order items are not returnable unless defective or incorrect). - Please ship the merchandise in its original packaging and wrapping from your nearest post office or shipping store.
- Items that are damaged or not in their original condition may be subject up to a 25% restocking fee.
- You will receive your refund within 5 business days of receipt of returned merchandise.
If you ordered an item that Ships Freight
Freight Inspection Upon Delivery
- Customers must inspect freight shipments immediately upon delivery.
- Any visible damage must be:
- Photographed
- Noted on the Bill of Lading
- Reported to Birdsall Marine within 48 hours
- Concealed damage must be reported within 5 business days.
