MEASURE BEFORE ORDERING

Make sure your seat fits your boat.

Ready-built seats are sold in the exact dimensions shown on their individual listings. Compare those measurements carefully with the available space in your boat before ordering.

1. AVAILABLE WIDTH

Measure the clear mounting area from side to side and compare it with the seat’s listed overall width.

2. VERTICAL CLEARANCE

Compare the listed pivot-to-frame measurement with your available height. Maintain at least 1/2 inch of deck clearance when the seat is folded down.

3. OPERATING CLEARANCE

Allow enough room for the cushion and support legs to open, fold, and stow without contacting nearby equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does “typically ships in 2 business day” mean?

After your order and upholstery selection are confirmed, your completed seat is scheduled to ship in the next 2 business days. Orders confirmed on weekends or holidays begin processing on the following business day.

Is a backrest included with the folding bench seat?

No. A backrest is not included unless the individual seat listing specifically states otherwise. Birdsall backrests are available separately.

Can the dimensions or frame configuration be changed?

No. These frames are already fabricated and are sold in the exact dimensions and configurations shown. If the available inventory does not fit your boat, Birdsall can build a custom bench seat with the normal custom-production lead time.

Can I select a different upholstery color?

The next-day program is limited to Smooth White, Pleated White, Smooth Off-White, and Pleated Off-White. Contact Birdsall Marine Design for other custom upholstery options and current lead times.

Are these seat returnable?

Unfortunately this is a non returnable item.
